The Adair County 2009 Farm, Home & Garden Expo will be held on Friday April 3, and the deadline for businesses, groups to apply for booths is March 20, 2009
In 2007, the Adair County Extension Council identified visibility within the community essential for a successful and profitable business. Thus, the Adair County Extension Council created the Farm, Home &Garden Expo.
The 2008 Farm, Home & Garden Expo attracted over 40 local businesses and over 400 participants.
The show featured numerous exhibitors including booths in agriculture services, gardening, landscaping, home decor, home building trends in Kentucky and actiities for youth.
The Adair County Extension Council invites local businesses to participate in the 2009 Farm, Home, & Garden Expo on April 3, 2009, from 1:00pm to 7:00pm CT at the Adair County Elementary School. There is no fee for booth space but we do request that each business provide a door prize. The Adair County Cattleman's Association will be serving grilled hamburgers.
Evaluations from last year's Expo revealed 50% of the exhibitors felt like the show increased business or economic profit and 70% of the exhibitors felt like they gained visibility within the community.
